Don at Tractor Supply Pet Appreciation Week Adoption Event

Last Saturday, we brought Don to the Tractor Supply Pet Appreciation Week adoption event in Lebanon.    He knows exactly what his job involves at Meet n' Greets and doesn't miss one person who walks by.  He is a lovable hound who loves to please.  He is also a very handsome boy!

Don's First M&G

Last Saturday was Don's very first M&G.  He did greyt!!  He had a couple of people who had been on the GPA-N website and saw his blog and wanted to come meet him.  He certainly knew his purpose at the M&G's and loved the attention he received.  "Good boy, Donnie!  You will find your forever home very soon!"  This will be a foster hound that will be hard to say goodbye to...

Don is our new foster who arrived from Birmingham a week ago.  He is a handsome young boy who will be 2 years old in May.  Don has settled nicely into his retirement and is learning home life very well.  He struggled with going up the few steps into our home for the first couple of tries when coming inside the house, but quickly mastered them. He's a curious boy, but minds well when corrected.  He sleeps soundly through the night and is ready to get his day started when he wakes up in the morning.  He loves going for walks, playing in the pen outside with the resident hounds and is enjoying playtime with stuffies.  Don is ready to find his forever family and has lots of love to give!
